IBPS PO Selection Process 2017

Online examination (Preliminary and Main) for the next Common Recruitment Process for selection of personnel for Probationary Officer/ Management Trainee posts in the Participating Organisations is tentatively scheduled in October / November 2017. See the notification here.

Selection Process of IBPS PO: 

Candidates who will qualify in preliminary examination of IBPS and shortlisted will have to appear for Main examination and shortlisted candidates in the main examination will subsequently be called for a Common Interview to be conducted by the Participating Organisations and co-ordinated by the Nodal
Bank.

IBPS PO Exam Pattern : 

a. Preliminary Examination 
English Language : No. of Qs -30, Maximum Marks - 30
Quantitative Aptitude : No. of Qs - 35, Maximum Marks - 35
Reasoning Ability : No. of Qs - 35, Maximum Marks -35

b. Main Examination 
Reasoning : No. of Questions -50, Maximum Marks-50
English Language : No. of Questions - 40, Maximum Marks- 40
Quantitative Aptitude : No. of Questions - 50, Maximum Marks- 50
General Awareness (with special reference to Banking) : No. of Questions - 40, Maximum Marks- 40
Computer Knowledge : No. of Questions - 20, Maximum Marks- 20

Examination Centres : 

 (i) The examination will be conducted online in venues across many centres in India.
