This is for general information that the Provisional Merit List for the post of Assistant Teacher (Lower Primary, Upper Primary-Social Science, Upper Primary-Maths & Science) on contractual basis under Sarba Siksha Abhiyan, Assam in connection with this office Advertisement No.SSA/TT/Engagement of Asstt. Teacher/1095/2017/1218, dated: Kahilipara the 30th June, 2017, has been declared today.

The Provisional Merit List is uploaded in the official website of SSA, Assam (www.ssaassam.gov.in). The list of Rejected candidates whose candidature was not considered for preparation of Merit list is published in the Notice Board of respective District Mission Office (where the candidates had verified their documents) of Sarba Siksha Abhiyan.

Candidates in respect to Provisional Merit List, may submit their complaint/grievance, if any, at the respective District Mission Office (where they had verified their documents) of Sarba Siksha Abhiyan in Specific Format along with photocopies of all relevant documents in support of his/her claim on 19.08.2017, 21.08.2017 and 22.08.2017. Complaints/grievances communicated through FAX, email, phone, postal communication or after the due date will not be entertained.

Candidates who have applied in the districts of Biswanath, Charaideu, Hojai, Majuli, South Salmara Mankachar will have to submit their complaints/grievances in the District Mission Office of SSA, Sonitpur, Sivsagar, Nagaon, Jorhat, Dhubri respectively within the stipulated time.

APSC Exam Pattern 2017

The Combined Competitive Examination consists of two successive stages:-

1. The Preliminary Examination
2. The Main Examination (written & interview)

Preliminary Examination:

This Examination is meant to serve as a screening test only. After clearing the Preliminary Examination, a candidate is qualified for admission to the Main Examination. Marks obtained in this exam will not be counted for determining the final order of merit.

The questions will be of objective type with multiple choices. OMR (Optical Mark Recognition) answer sheet will be provided for answering questions. Candidates will have to use ONLY BLACK BALL PEN.

USE OF ERASER, CHEMICAL, CORRECTION FLUID etc. in the OMR answer sheet is prohibited and answer sheets bearing traces of such use shall not be evaluated.

The Preliminary Examination will consist of two papers of objective type multiple choice questions of two hours duration each.
